SHARE Multi-Academy Trust at the forefront of teacher professional development
Awarded Teaching School Hub status for Calderdale and Kirklees by the Department for Education
We are delighted to announce that SHARE Multi-Academy Trust has been designated as a Teaching School Hub alongside 86 other educational establishments across the country. From September 2021, the new Teaching School Hub framework will replace the current network of around 750 teaching schools, and plans are already underway to ensure successful implementation. The Hubs will be school-led centres of excellence for teacher and leadership training and development. They will be at the centre of major changes to the national system for recruiting and training teachers. You can read more about the changes by following the link here: Teaching school hubs - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
We are extremely proud to be given this opportunity to support teachers and leaders in every phase and type of school, at each stage of their development.
We look forward to building new partnerships and are confident that by working together we can ensure the children in our region receive the highest standard of education. SHARE MAT CEO said, “We are delighted to be named as our local Teaching School Hub. There is a lot of work to do and we are keen to work in partnership with schools from across Calderdale and Kirklees. There is an incredible amount of expertise in our local schools and we want to use that knowledge to support current and future teachers across the area. This will be very much a team effort and we are encouraging all schools in our area to get involved.”
